Clifford Addams (American, 1876-1942) studied with Whistler in Belgium.
He was a member of The Chicago Society of Etchers, The Philadelphia Society of Etchers, The Society of American Etchers and exhibited at The Art Institute of Chicago and the National Academy of Design.
His work is listed as being in the collections of various museums including The Pennsylvania Academy of  Fine Art, The Library of Congress, The Smithsonian, The Art Institute of Chicago, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C.
