A French etcher and lithographer who settled in Chelsea
after the Franco-Prussian war. Exhibited widely and
elected A.R.E. 1921. President of the Society of
Graver-Printers in Colours.

Inscribed on the back of this etching is the information
that Roussel moved to St. Leonards in 1914 after marrying
Ethel Melville, widow of Arthur Melville.
